Be a part of our team for the Pride 5K on June 12. As a way to culminate the May Madness health initiative, all are invited to join Pastor Robb for the Pride 5K on Sunday, June 12 at 8:00 a.m. His goal is to complete the race and get back to church to lead worship at 9:30 a.m.
Pastor Robb and his daughter Ellie are the first two members of Team Two Rivers, and you can be a part of the team too. CLICK HERE to register for either the 5K Run, Walk, and Roll or the 1 Mile Fun Run. The fee for the 5K is $40. The fee for the Fun Run is $25. The registration includes a race t-shirt. Members of Team Two Rivers are encouraged to wear their own Two Rivers Church t-shirt. If you register with us, you do not have to do the official registration We will register the entire group as one on June 1.
The Project of the Quad Cities is the organizer of this event. Since 1986, The Project has served people living with HIV/AIDS with remarkable care and radical acceptance. They take a holistic approach to health care by treating the entire individual. Their services have grown tremendously to include a sexual health clinic, no-cost mental health services, LGBTQ+ health care, and more
The race will take place at the Bass Street Landing in Moline. The start time is 8:00 a.m. and worship is at 9:30. If you register with us, you should send in your payment by mail, in the offering plate on Sunday, or through our Online Giving page. However you give, make sure you mark the payment “Team 5K.” We will do all of the official registrations at once and make one total payment to The Project.
