Pastor Robb is leading a retreat at the Congregation of the Humility of Mary in Wheatland, Iowa. This is a 24-hour retreat for men who want to take a closer look at their own mental and spiritual health.
The retreat will last from 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4 until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5. The retreat center is a 45 minute drive from the dowtown Rock Island. At the retreat, men will take a moment to assess their spiritual and mental health. They will be given tools to address their emotional needs and reflect on masculinity as modeled by Jesus.
Hopefully men at the retreat will be able to connect in an ongoing way, forming small accountability groups that can meet regularly after the retreat. The fee for the retreat is $85, and this includes dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and the night stay at the Prairie Retreat center.
