ALLIED YOUTH LOCK-IN AT CAMP MILAN, NOV 3-4
The Allied Youth group is a collection of four churches who are working together to share the inclusive love of Christ. The first lock-in will be at Camp Milan Retreat Center. Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3 and ending at 3:00 p.m. on November 4. The lock-in will be full of games, worship, food, arts, and fun.
If you register below you will receive an email with more details about the lock-in. Youth must bring their own bedding, toiletries, and towels. There is a plan to be outside for a bonfire and do a morning walk through the woods, so appropriate clothing and shoes is important. Make sure to include any dietary restrictions in the sign-up. Registration deadline is October 31.

CONFIRMATION (10:30-11:45 starting August 13
Confirmation is a period of learning and discernment for youth in grades 6 and up. The classes will start after worship on August 13. Led by Pastor Robb, the young people will learn the basics of our faith, and be guided in important discussions and conversations. Questions, doubts, and wondering will be encouraged for young people to make a claim on their own faith journey. In the end, the young people will be asked if they wish to be baptized or to affirm the vows that were taken on their behalf at baptism. There will be a special service to recognize their confirmation on January 7, 2024. There will be a special confirmation retreat on July 27-28 at Camp Milan.
SUNDAY SCHOOL (10:30-11:45 every Sunday between Labor Day and Memorial Day)
Every Sunday the kids and youth meet in Epworth hall for a special time of fellowship. The youth in 6th grade and up meet with Pastor Robb to go over in more detail the scripture of the day. The kids in grades K-5th meet with other Sunday school volunteers for an age appropriate Sunday school lesson.
TRY Retreats
TRY Retreats are usually at Camp Milan Retreat Center. Just a 15 minute drive from the church, Camp Milan is a perfect place for a short getaway. With two wings of bunks, a large dining hall, full commercial kitchen, recreation room, and 9 acres of green space and woods, Camp Milan is perfect for a weekend away without a long drive. TRY Retreats are usually about 24 hours, from Friday evening until Saturday. The next TRY Retreat will be Nov. 3-4 at Camp Milan Meeting and Retreat Center.
