Grab your Mom jeans, seven of your smartest friends, and come play trivia. Bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, but you can buy baked goods and bid on gift baskets for Mom. The gift baskets will make great last-minute gifts for Mother’s Day. All of this is to help kids from Two Rivers get to summer camp at East Bay Camp this July. After all, what could any Mom use more than the kids at camp for a week?
Tables are $100 for 8 people, which includes a doubler and 10 mulligans. The tables can seat up to 8 people. Register now for a table by calling 309-788-9384 or submit the form below. Individuals can come and play for $12.50 per person. So even if you don’t have a full table, come and join a team. And if you don’t have a full table of 8, the fee will only be $12.50 per person. There will be cash prizes for the winning table.
The kids in grades 3-6 will be going to “You Can’t Do That At Camp,” while the 7-12th grade youth will be going to “Camp Altitude.” You Can’t Do That At Camp is a week of defying expectations. Kids will experience all the traditional joys of camp like archery, canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts, but with a twist. All the while, they will experience dynamic worship and get connected to God through nature and forming new friendships. The youth will challenge themselves, build confidence and teamwork, and experience new heights on the high ropes course and zip line. This is a unique chance for the kids and youth of Two Rivers to experience camp together, have a unique shared experience, and connect with God.
Kids and youth will be volunteering at this trivia night, and will be planning other projects to help raise funds for the week of camp. Watch out for the car wash at Two Rivers Church, coming on June 10.
