In partnership with the Illinois Great Rivers Camping Ministries, Camp Milan will host a youth retreat on April 24-25. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, and ends at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25. It is hoped that about 50 youth and adults will come to the event from churches from around the district.
Worship will be led by Rob Leveridge. The preacher will be Rev. Sharon L. S. Cook. Leveridge is an experienced worship leader who has recently relocated to the Quad Cities. The theme of the event is “Arts in the Spirit,” and participants will be encouraged to think of ways that creating art can be a spiritual exercise. There will be opportunities for youth to explore their creativity and strengthen their prayer life.
