Baptisms and Confirmation

Baptisms will take place on September 7 for those interested in full-immersion. For those who want to be baptized during this outdoor service, they should come to two baptism classes on August 24 and August 31. As United Methodists, we believe that any amount of water is sufficient for baptism – God can use just a drop of water – but some people desire the full-immersion experience.

Confirmation Class forming with several other United Methodist Churches. There will be three retreat Sundays for the combined class to go through “The Absolute Basics of the Wesleyan Way.” These will take place on the third Sundays of the month in September, October, and November. Young people who were baptized on September 7 are still expected to go through confirmation to learn about full membership in the church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL (10:30-11:45 every Sunday between Labor Day and Memorial Day)

Every Sunday the kids and youth meet in Epworth hall for a special time of fellowship.  The youth in 6th grade and up meet with Pastor Robb to go over in more detail the scripture of the day.  The kids in grades K-5th meet with other Sunday school volunteers for an age appropriate Sunday school lesson.
