    Pizza

If you enjoy tasty hot pizza, now is the time to order your pizzas from the Two Rivers Youth Group as they prepare to make them all fresh for you. Orders for pizzas are being taken Sundays, February 2, 9, 16, and 23 at the west entrance of the church before & after worship. There will also be online orders available on the church website. The pizzas come wrapped in plastic and freeze well. Order some extra and put them in the freezer for later.

The pizza selections include cheese, pepperoni, sausage, sausage and pepperoni, veggie, and supreme. The cost will be $12 for all selections, except cheese which will be $10.

Two Rivers Youth have some big plans for 2025, including a camp and a mission trip. Proceeds from the pizzas will help kids have a life-changing summer. Buy some for yourself. Buy some as gifts. Put a stack in your freezer. Pick up a blank order form and sell some to your neighbors. This is a great cause, and they are great pizzas.

Pizzas will be ready for pick-up only on Saturday, March 1, between 3:30-5 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church. Delivery arrangements can be made, but please tip generously.

  • GriefShare coming in January

    GriefShare coming in January

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 12-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

The group at Two Rivers Church will be led by a team that is combined laity and clergy. It will meet on Monday evenings, starting January 15. It is open to all – you do not need to be a member of Two Rivers Church to participate. There is a $10 registration fee, which helps cover the cost of the GriefShare workbook. Each session will include a video presentation, group discussion, and each week people will be invited to reflections in their workbook.

    Hanging of the Greens

On November 26 we will decorate the church for Advent. Many hands make light work as we build and decorate the Chrismon tree, set up other Christmas trees, hang wreaths and garland, and prepare for the festive season. We will begin the work of hanging the greens shortly after worship. When the decorating is complete, we will share a prayer for the Chrismon tree and then have a soup luncheon in Epworth Hall. There will be crafts for the kids and jobs for them as well. There will be a sign up sheet provided for those who wish to bring a soup or dessert for the luncheon.
